Solo show — The Seven Celestial Spheres, The Scuola Grande dei Carmini
May to October, 2026 — During The 61st Venice Biennale
On the 61st Venice Biennale, French Hungarian artist Anna Peter Breton presents The Seven Celestial Spheres, an in-situ exhibition conceived specifically for the Scuola Grande dei Carmini, a prestigious Venetian institution opening its doors for the first time to a major contemporary art project.
Within one of Venice’s most remarkable heritage sites, a series of fourteen monumental panels interacts with the exceptional cycle of nine painted panels by Giambattista Tiepolo (1696–1770), created for the Scuola’s Chapter Hall.
Through these works, Anna Peter Breton explores the theme of the sky, drawing on references to ancient and medieval cosmologies, and develops a profound reflection on the notions of light, time, and spirituality.

NUBU x Anna Peter Breton
The NUBU SS26 collection was jointly created by Garam Judit, the brand’s designer, and the designer assistant, Liza Borcsik.
The inspirational artist of the collection is Anna Peter Breton, a Paris-based visual artist of Hungarian–Kyrgyz origin. Her works focus on Kyrgyz landscapes, which she depicts using a blurred, watercolor-like technique.
The core structure of the collection is defined by the color palette she employs and the organic forms evoking the landscapes. Both hand-painted and digital prints appear on the garments, while mountain-inspired shapes are reflected not only in the details but also in the overall volume of the pieces.
